If  CIC favors Public Information Officers (PIO)? Is RTI Act really effective?   Congress alwayz claim gifting of RTI Act to Indian citizens. The Act has been enacted constitutionally.  However, 1.The political parties themselves are not respecting the Act. 2. Attending hearing at CIC (Central Information Commission) is of not much use as many important points are being missed in a hearing of 4-5 minutes. They alwayz try to wind up the hearing in some 5-10 minutes. In fact it seems the Right to Information Act ( सूचना का अधिकार अधिनियम ) to be proactive to the Public Authorities. Is really the Domestic Violence Act being misused? While visiting face book I find many posts in the face book depicting that there is abundant misuse of domestic violence Act by women. There have been alarming statistics showing many numbers of cases being filed by many educated women and even some news items mentioning that the wife marry the innocent boys just to extort the money and then stay happily with their boy friends. There have been circulars issued by various Police Commissioners as well as comments made by hon'able judges in their judgement and even the Supreme Court has termed it as a Legal Terrorism. In order to have  some statistical analysis, I had submitted an application under RTI Act 2005 to Ministry of Home Affairs to seek certain details about the statistical figures pertaining to cases being filed by such women in the territory of Delhi falling under the jurisdiction of Delhi Police.
