While this post is being published on this blog from a complaint received from one of the consumers in Faridabad, Haryana with an objective of creating awareness about the Rights and Respons ibilities of the Electricity Consumers in Haryana, the same is applicable in principle for consumers across the country with a difference in the timelines, etc. This is so because the distribution of the electricity to the consumers is governed under the Electricity Act, 2003.
