A post was uploaded in this blog by the author for wilful gross violations of the Regulations of Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission mandated as per provisions laid in the Electricity Act. These Regulations including approved tariff structures are binding onto the DISCOMs.  The issues of gross violations as identified in the post were proposed to be intimated to the Regulator i.e Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) for appropriate intervention. The violations have been brought to the perusal of HERC for taking appropriate action through an email dtd. 22nd July 2020 and 30th July 2020. Electricity both generation and distribution in India are covered under the Electricity Act. The present posts deal with the distribution of electricity to the consumers as it is being disseminated from the issues being faced by the consumers.
